Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will operate various manual machining equipment to produce high-quality parts and components according to specifications and drawings. This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
- Machining Operations: Set up and operate manual lathes, mills, grinders, and other machining tools to fabricate components from metal and other materials.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to understand specifications and tolerances.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on machines, troubleshoot issues, and report any malfunctions to ensure efficient operation.
- Work Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including time logs, quantities produced, and any issues encountered.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, supervisors, and other team members to meet production goals and timelines.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a manual machinist, with a minimum of 2+ yrs in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in operating manual lathes, mills, and grinders.
- Strong understanding of machining principles and metallurgy.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Familiarity with measuring instruments and inspection techniques.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
