We seek an Inside Sales & Marketing Specialist to report to the Sales & Marketing Manager.
This role will support and drive key sales and marketing initiatives and require you to work directly with our valued customers to recommend products and services that fit their needs. At times, the Inside Sales & Marketing Specialist may have to address customer concerns and use their problem-solving skills to offer practical solutions to resolve them. In addition, this role will work closely with Pyrophobic Systems' advertising and marketing agencies to support marketing and advertising initiatives.
This is a hybrid position based out of 649 Welham Rd, Barrie, ON L4N 0B7 with the option for one day per week working from home.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday
Base Compensation: $53,000 to $63,000 per annum (flexible based on level of experience)

Key areas of responsibility are:
Sales:
- Lead Generation – Generate sales by managing inbound leads, engaging directly with potential customers to understand their needs, and reaching out to prospects through outbound channels
- Sales Presentations and Demos – Assist in delivering product presentations and demonstrations for prospective and existing customers
- Client Acquisition and Sales – Manage and process all sample and prototyping requests, providing support throughout the sales cycle as needed
- Product Knowledge – Develop and maintain expertise in current products and services available to customers
Customer Relationship Management:
- Account Management - Manage existing accounts by building relationships with key stakeholders, performing needs assessments for each customer to recommend appropriate goods and services and providing clients with accurate quotes
- Customer Feedback - Gather customer feedback to aid in product development, ISO compliance activities and to refine sales strategies
Marketing:
- Trade Shows - Assist with various aspects of trade show participation, including organizing logistics for samples and marketing materials, staffing the booth, and providing general support as needed
- Digital and Other - Execute and support key marketing initiatives as needed
Reporting:
- Forecasting - Analyze account data and reports to generate sales forecasts and deliver insights on emerging trends to the management team
- CRM Management - Ensure the CRM database is proactively maintained and up to date
Organizational:
- Accounting & Operations - Ensure timely invoicing, shipment and delivery of product
- ISO9001 and Continuous Improvement - Support ISO requirements of the sales and marketing team
- General - Provide sales and marketing-related support to executive management as needed
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service or sales (preferred)
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in management, marketing, materials science, or a related field
- Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles, including sales cycle management, account management, and sales forecasting
- Proficient English communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, remaining calm under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
- Demonstrates integrity, credibility, dedication, and a positive attitude
- Skilled in building and maintaining rapport with a diverse range of customers and colleagues
- Willingness to travel occasionally for trade shows and customer visits to foster strong business relationships
- Able to read and analyze data for sales forecasting and reporting to management
- Comfortable making independent decisions and working with minimal oversight
- Keen attention to detail and commitment to customer service best practices
- A desire to participate in training and professional development
- Adaptable, with a strong ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada
