System Consultant (Remote within Canada)

Reporting to the Implementation Manager, the System Consultant will be responsible for creating and maintaining strong client relationships throughout the assigned project, leading to the successful implementation of Multiview Financial Software based on client's contract specifications.

The responsibility will include, but not limited to:

  • Providing product recommendations, configurations and technical guidance for integrations and effective technical solutions
  • Directly working with clients and internal departments to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget
  • Demonstrating a strong commitment to contributing and promoting Multiview's team culture and organizational values

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated team player, who effectively engages with our clients and has extensive prior work experience in a client support role. The System Consultant will be viewed as a subject matter expert who can advise and recommend new strategies and best practices as it pertains to implementation service inquiries and overall support our clients.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Work with new clients to assist them with the transitioning from a legacy financial system to Multiview Financial Software
  • Learn and apply Multiview's Implementation processes and methodologies for the day-to-day operations
  • Managing portfolio of client accounts from project initiation to close
  • Perform strategic reviews with new clients to understand their needs in terms of their financial reporting, internal processes, and finance software needs
  • Record and manage project deliverables, risks, and actions
  • Provide regular Implementation status reports to key stakeholders, highlighting critical issues and overall status of assigned project; Investigating and making recommendations on issues that challenge scope boundaries
  • Support clients through all phases of the implementation as required
  • Coordinate interfaces, data history loads, mapping loads, etc. with internal technical resources for the implementation
  • Maintain a highly detail-oriented view on client project plans, while exercising good interpersonal and organizational skills to develop strong client relationships
  • Prioritizing work and manage multiple tasks simultaneously while adhering to deadlines; Track time to adequately capture revenue
  • Provide support to assigned clients until transition to Client Success
  • Deal with confidential data and adhering to applicable data protection acts
  • Demonstrate Multiview's core values, building and advancing the reputation of the company and its clients

COMPETENCIES PORTFOLIO:

  • Client Service – This role affects 100% of all clients who purchase Multiview Financial software. The position is responsible for the success of the client's understanding and potential for utilization of Multiview
  • Technical Skills – Strong in-depth knowledge of the Multiview product and accounting is required to perform the role competently. The incumbent must be comfortable using the technology and be able to explain it to others. This level of expertise is gained through extensive on the job experience.
  • Problem solving – Proactive in anticipating and resolving problems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required to meet the project requirements.
  • Interpersonal Skills –Ability to effectively coach, communicate and work with various team members both internally and externally. Strong verbal communication skills are required
  • Organization – Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks to ensure a smooth client support experience and operational excellence
  • Teamwork – works with multiple teams cross-functionally and must know how to effectively address the needs of each team while always keeping the client's outcomes as the driver
  • Initiative – Seeks, accepts, and completes new tasks using own initiative; works independently with little supervision

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

  • University Degree or college diploma in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, Bookkeeping, Payroll Administration, Business, or relevant experience
  • Experience Level: 1-2 years experience in an accounting or finance role
  • Passion for client success, technology, and software implementation
  • Excellent communication, presentation, training/coaching and interpersonal skills in a client facing role
  • General aptitude for software usage– preferably in the Financials/Enterprise products and services, financial software, payroll processing applications etc.
  • Strong Client Service skills
  • Strong organization, planning, prioritization, ability to organize, schedule and facilitate effective meetings with excellent time management skills
  • Ability to multi-task, probe, analyze and problem solve with keen attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to interface and maintain effective relationships with all departments and employees in a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to work both collaboratively in a team environment and independently with little supervision
  • Willingness to be coached, mentored, and driven to reach your fullest potential
  • Experience demonstrating Multiview's core values, building, and advancing the reputation of the company and its clients

WHAT WE WOULD LOVE TO SEE:

  • Prior experience working in a SaaS environment
  • Knowledge of accounting and financial management
  • 1+ years of Multiview Financial product or Enterprise software experience
