Advanced Upstream is looking for a Technical Sales Representative to join its team in Calgary, AB, Canada.
Reporting to the VP of Sales, the Technical Sales Representative will be responsible for delivery of the profitable target revenue by generating and closing leads/deals and collecting funds upon work completion. A successful candidate will ensure efficient delivery of all sales processes, meaningful customer relationships, progression of deals, contracts review process, proactively selling Advanced Upstream tools, technologies, and services.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new business by actively participating in the promotion of Advanced Upstream's new technology and services offerings.
- Meet and exceed revenue goals.
- Identify, qualify, and secure business sales opportunities.
- Attract new customer interest by building relationships and the product reputation.
- Share technical content and presentations delivering information to potential customers at meetings, industry exhibits, trade shows, and conferences.
- Understand the customer's needs and technical challenges and offer solutions.
- Provide technical support for sales activities such as bid proposal preparation, technical design options, and other technical services.
- Create positive, long-lasting personal relationships with current and potential customers.
- Remain knowledgeable on technology trends.
- Create and maintain CRM data base (HubSpot) for all current and prospective customers to include accurate deal revenue for forecasting, target customer updates, and sales activities for managing sales cycle.
- Maintains integrity in all communication and actions following ethics, quality and HSE (Health Safety and Environment) procedures and requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualification Requirements:
- Engineering degree, technical diploma in Engineering or industry experience.
- A minimum of 5 years prior experience in completions operations.
- Previous experience and knowledge of horizontal well completions and stimulations, multi-stage fracturing and fracturing optimization.
- Candidates MUST be able to legally work and reside in Canada.
Required skills and abilities:
- Ability to manager client relationships and Opportunities.
- Proven ability to interface with internal stakeholders, partners, and customers with tangible results.
- Good interpersonal and sales skills with customers and inside personnel.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills is required.
- Excellent analytical, administrative, communications and organizational skills.
- High level of commitment & strong work ethic
