Must Have Skills:
- In-depth understanding of the end-to-end application development lifecycle, including common pitfalls and areas for quality improvement.
- Strong expertise in identifying gaps in user stories and ensuring thorough follow-through with test management processes.
- Proven leadership experience managing a team of approximately 10 testers.
- Hands-on experience with both manual and automated testing tools, particularly within service-oriented architecture environments.
- Proficiency in SQL and database testing (including SQL Server, Oracle, MS Access).
- Strong project management skills with an emphasis on resource allocation and timeline management.
- Significant experience managing the quality of large-scale, complex technical portfolios.
- Proficient in unit testing coverage and its impact on the overall testing strategy.
- Excellent communication skills, with an emphasis on collaboration and problem-solving abilities.
- API Testing skills
- Strong understanding of SQL
- Team Leadership Skills
Nice to Have:
- Experience with using AI for enhancing software testing processes.
- Familiarity with Java, Curam, and Oracle database environments.
Description
- Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Test Lead with proven leadership capabilities and hands-on expertise in key testing tools. The ideal candidate will lead a team of approximately 10 testers while actively participating in hands-on testing activities. This role involves ensuring end-to-end quality of applications across the entire portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the quality of the entire application development lifecycle, from planning through delivery.
- Optimize resource allocation throughout the testing lifecycle to maximize efficiency.
- Plan, manage, and lead the design and execution of comprehensive test strategies, including test plans and scenarios.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure test strategies align with project objectives.
- Establish proactive monitoring processes and create application health dashboards while maintaining focus on detailed execution.
- Provide actionable insights on testing and user stories during the development phase to ensure alignment with quality objectives.
- Leverage AI and automation tools to improve testing efficiency and team productivity.
- Lead, mentor, and coach the testing team to achieve deadlines and uphold quality standards.
