We are currently seeking Full-time Maintenance Electrician at our Alberta site. The primary function of this role is to troubleshoot problems, contribute ideas, analyze effects and find opportunities to eliminate countermeasures throughout the Seba Beach Plant. Reporting to the Maintenance Planner, the role will maintain safety and quality by ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment.

WHEN YOU JOIN US, YOU WILL BE:

• Maintain a clean work area and support team on Housekeeping
• Follow all standard and safety procedures as per company's policies
• Proficiently use power and hand tools
• Operate different equipment such as Forklift, Loader and Electrical equipment
• Fabricate, service and repair equipment. Includes repairing electrical and packaging equipment
• Regularly follow up on maintenance actions
• Participate in team meetings
• Work with other trades to assist when needed
• Minimize parts inventory

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Proven experience working in and maintaining a safe work environment with intimate knowledge of LOTO procedures, ability to work in restricted space and from heights or other relevant safety practices
• Possessed Journeyman Red Seal Ticket or Apprentice papers
• PLC and Mechanical experience are an assest
• Experienced in working in and around Electrical panels
• Has CEC Knowledge and Mechanical aptitude
• Millwright skills, welding and machining experience preferred
• Excellent working knowledge of appropriate use of hand tools and maintenance equipment
• Ability to read and understand detailed repair & instruction manuals
• Must be able to work with computer-based maintenance software
• Possess superior analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to take direction, responsibility, and be accountable
• Able to work 8 to 12 hours per day and work in repetitive motions
• Able to work outdoor in summer and winter exposure and in dusty environment
