LT3 Advanced Technology Group is a custom software development company specializing in technology led business applications.

We are looking to fill a sales development representative to help with outbound prospecting. The goal is to identify qualified leads, nurture them and hand them over to an account manager or sales executive to close the deal.

You're an ambitious individual, likely having graduated some kind of educational institution for sales and marketing. Looking for an exciting, fast-paced work environment. You enjoy working in small, “get-er-done” teams, and have a thirst for knowledge Google can barely satiate.

As a SRD, you will be responsible for:

  • Lead Generation and Qualification
    • Prospecting: Identify and target potential customers.
    • Outbound Calls/Emails: Reach out to prospects via phone calls, emails, or social media.
    • Initial Qualification: Determine whether a prospect meets the basic criteria to be considered a potential customer.
    • Data Gathering: Collect information about prospects to facilitate future conversations and tailor pitches.
  • Research
    • Market Research: Understand market trends and how they relate to the company's offerings
    • Customer Analysis: Research prospective clients to understand their needs and pain points.
    • Competitive Analysis: Stay updated on competitors and their offerings.
  • Relationship Building
    • First Touchpoint: Often the first person from the company to interact with a prospect.
    • Follow-Up: Maintain consistent communication with warm leads to keep them engaged.
    • Networking: Use social media and other platforms to establish and maintain professional relationships.
  • Database Management
    • CRM Management: Log all activities in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
    • Lead Tracking: Keep track of interactions with leads and their status.
    • Reporting: Generate reports on leads, conversion rates, and other KPIs.
    • Team Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and sales teams.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Handoff: Transition qualified leads to Account Executives or other sales personnel for further engagement and closure.
    • Feedback Loop: Communicate with the sales team to refine lead qualification criteria and processes.
  • Skills Development
    • Training: Regularly update skills through internal training sessions, webinars, or workshops.
    • Scripts and Pitches: Develop and refine scripts and pitches for outreach.
  • Administrative Duties
    • Scheduling: Book appointments between qualified leads and sales representatives.
    • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all interactions.

Required Skills:

  • Technical Skills
    • CRM Software: Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software like Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms.
    • Data Analysis: Basic understanding of data analysis tools, like Excel, for tracking and interpreting performance metrics.
    • Sales Automation Tools: Experience using sales automation and outreach software.
  • Sales Skills
    • Cold Calling: Experience in reaching out to potential customers who have had no previous interaction with the company.
    • Email Outreach: Skills in drafting compelling and personalized emails to initiate contact or follow-up.
    • Social Selling: Utilizing social media platforms like LinkedIn for outreach and networking.
  • Communication Skills
    • Verbal Communication: Strong speaking skills for effective phone and in-person conversations.
    • Written Communication: Ability to articulate thoughts clearly and professionally in written form, particularly in emails and CRM notes.
    • Active Listening: Skills in understanding customer needs and concerns through careful listening and asking appropriate questions.
  • Interpersonal Skills
    • Relationship Building: Ability to form quick and lasting relationships with customers.
    • Empathy: Understanding and addressing potential customer needs and pain points.
    • Teamwork: Collaborative skills for working closely with marketing and sales departments.
