Job Description
Light Duty Cleaner Position available in Burlington. (Off Harvester between Appleby and Burloak).
Day shift light duty cleaning 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
Work Days: Monday to Friday - 8 hours per shift
This building cleaning position is physically demanding and requires the ability to lift/move heavy objects (up to 25 lb), standing, bending, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
We are seeking serious, long term minded employees to join our growing Cleaning Company.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • General dusting, vacuuming, mopping
  • Cleaning of washrooms, refilling dispensers
  • Emptying garbage and recycling
  • Wet cleaning horizontal surfaces
  • Spot Cleaning of walls and glass
  • Sanitizing touchpoints
  • Additional tasks as requested
  • Establish positive rapport with clients when possible
  • Provide an exceptional level of service that exceeds the expectation of the client
  • Conduct all work in accordance with company safety and other workplace policies
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Communicate in English both written and verbally
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Be physically capable of lifting, bending, and performing repetitive tasks
  • Flexible, adaptable, and able to work effectively in a variety of settings
  • Works well independently and in a team environment
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Previous cleaning experience in a commercial setting is essential
WORKING CONDITIONS
There is a low risk of exposure to adverse working conditions. However, at this time with the COVID 19 Pandemic extra cleaning precautions are taken and required.
