NOW HIRING: Parts Manager
LOCATION: Centennial Auto Sport & Tire, Summerside, PEI
HOURS: Full time, 40-45 hours per week, Monday - Friday, rotation of Saturday mornings
WAGES: $50,000 - $65,000 per year (salary + incentives) + benefits. Negotiable based on experience.
THE PERFECT FIT:
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, outgoing, customer service-oriented parts guru to join our Centennial Auto Sport & Tire team in Summerside. You will possess strong organizational skills, time management skills and thrive in a fast paced environment.
APPLICABLE SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience in a parts department role, ideally as an Parts Manager or Assistant Parts Manager is considered a strong asset
- Excellent customer service, organizational and time management skills
- Strong work ethic and team mindset
- Proven ability to work in and improve a process-driven environment.
- Knowledge of parts inventory systems and procedures.
MAIN JOB TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet customers in person or by phone
- Manage parts inventory
- Order, receive, maintain, and invoice all parts inventory accurately
- Create processes and procedures for maintaining inventory levels, including counts, orders and returns.
- Analyze departmental operations and storage layout and revise as needed for maximum effectiveness.
- Coordinates a prompt, efficient and timely flow of paperwork.
- Maintain a balanced inventory consistent with the requirements of the retail sales and service department.
