Commercial Litigation Law Clerk
Job description
Our Client based in Downtown Toronto is a full-service law firm providing representation and assistance across multiple verticals. They are currently seeking an experienced law clerk to join their commercial litigation team.
Your new role
In this role as a commercial litigation law clerk, you will be responsible for compiling, organizing and maintaining files and preparation of correspondence, court documents and document briefs. You will also be responding for all aspects of litigation and e-discovery including large complex document management. The successful candidate will be also be required to handle client management, performing first level document review, database management, including searching and organization of data in electronic format as well as summarizing discovery notes, transcripts, and other reports.
What you will need to succeed
To be considered for this position, you must have minimum of 5-years relevant legal industry experience working as commercial litigation clerk. You should have exceptional written and communication skills, are organized and meticulous with follow-up and details, and are able to take initiative, prioritize, and multi-task. The successful candidate should also have experience using litigation support systems and technologies.
