About this role

We are recruiting for an IT Business Systems Administrator to join our IT Department at our Burnaby office.

Here's how your role will strengthen our team.

Your responsibilities

  • Subject matter expert (SME) for assigned systems including ongoing maintenance, upgrades, roll-out of new modules or relevant systems replacement implementations. Core systems include Oracle JDE ERP, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Halo helpdesk
  • Complete assigned elements of the systems implementation cycle including envisioning, defining user requirements, preparing technical specifications, building prototypes, performing system tests, and preparing relevant documentation and training material
  • Develop and support the required integration with other data sources and systems
  • Monitor vendor and user requested enhancements and / or patches; apply appropriate upgrades; keep system up to date including security patching
  • Maintain and support the financial and business environment, including trouble shooting systems issues, testing, and implementing program fixes and enhancements integrations with other systems, creating/updating all relevant documentation
  • Collaborate with peers in IT and business units, and external parties to provide support for applications maintenance, modification and enhancements as required through problem solving, testing, reports development and documentation.
  • Create comprehensive technical system documentation and provide training to users to ensure business requirements are met and the system performance is optimized

Your experience and skills

  • Must have a two-year full-time technical diploma in Information Technology or another acceptable field from a recognized post-secondary educational institution
  • Minimum 5 years of related experience in a mid to large enterprise environment, providing financial applications and business systems implementation, configuration, integration, upgrades, and support
  • Hands-on technical experience working with financial systems
  • Experience configuring and maintaining security such as user roles, application, action, row, columns
  • Experience developing integrations with other systems
  • Experience with project management tools (Jira)
  • Package, build and deployment tasks (OMW, ASU/ESU)
  • Knowledge and experience in scripting language such as python, javascript or perl
  • Demonstrated ability with AI tools to improve productivity
  • CRM Dynamics support knowledge, an asset
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Able to foster positive productive professional relationships
  • Sound judgment and very strong attention to detail

Salary range: $85,000-$90,000 per year plus a competitive total compensation package. Actual salary will be commensurate with experience, skills and overall match to the position offered. Let's chat throughout the hiring process and determine the best fit.
