The Administrator, Operations is responsible for supporting the administrative, operational, and training teams with a variety of daily activities. As this is a multifaceted position, you will have the opportunity to work with and help support both internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Reception duties and professional communication via phone, email and in person with customers/vendors in supported departments.
  • Cash balancing, daily cash reports (debit/credit), daily cash deposits, data entry, and commission payments preparation, as required.
  • Support safety trainers by assigning and registering students to operator-training classes, distributing training material during classes, handling and distributing completion certificates, and other duties as assigned.
  • Prepare quotes and invoices for customers, individuals, and companies.
  • Work with, and maintain/update, assigned online platforms, as required.
  • Arrange logistics for deliveries, local supplies, and out-of-town training, as required.
  • Inside sales as assigned.
  • Order coffee and office supplies.
  • Keep the office front-area and coffee-area tidy.
  • Follow and ensure that workplace health and safety practices are adhered to by customers, employees and students.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to use in-house database to initiate contact with customers, vendors, and students.
  • Ability or willingness to negotiate with vendors and customers.
  • Proficient or willing to learn Microsoft Office products at a proficient level.
  • Ability to operate equipment (training will be provided).
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Superb customer service skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well with others.

Training, Education and Experience:
  • 2-4 years of administrative experience.
  • High School Diploma.

Compensation package:
  • Salary between $40,000-$50,000 depending on skills and qualifications.

Working Conditions: The Administrator is based out of the Surrey office and works 40 hours on average per week Monday to Friday.
