We are looking for an enthusiastic Sterilization and Instruments Control Technician who share our passion for delivering exceptional service and creating a positive experience for our clients. What you will bring
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a medical or dental environment.
- Knowledge of sterilization procedures and infection control practices.
- MDRAO certificate course is an asset.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
What you will be doing
- Perform thorough cleaning, sterilization, and disinfection of surgical instruments and equipment in accordance with established protocols.
- Maintain accurate inventory records of all surgical instruments and supplies.
- Develop and enforce procedures to ensure no instruments are inadvertently discarded after surgeries.
- Conduct routine inspections and quality control checks to ensure all sterilization equipment is functioning properly.
- Accurately document all sterilization processes and maintenance activities to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control guidelines to protect patients and staff.
