DescriptionAs Event Ambassadors, you will play a vital role in ensuring a seamless and positive experience for customers using parking facilities during events. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting parkers into stalls, showing customers how to pay for parking, managing challenging customer interactions, and facilitating them in the parking process. Your commitment to exceptional service will guide your actions as you address customer concerns within the established site policies.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers with the overall in/out process of parking
- Assisting customers who are unsure of how to pay for their parking
- Basic knowledge of the parking equipment used at the site; Pay Stations, Ticket Dispensers, Exit Readers, Gate Machines etc. to be able to assist customers
- Identify and report parking equipment deficiencies and safety concerns to direct supervisor
- Must ensure that the site at which the individual is working is kept clean, neat, and free of any obstacles in accordance with the requirements of that site
- Litter pick up and now shoveling/salting (as required)
- Ensure that pricing on Meters are correct and that event signage is clearly displayed
- Responsible for maintaining and operating equipment belonging to Reimagined or the Property manager during their shift
- Perform Lot Counts
- Be prepared for shift by having all supplies needed before heading out to site
- Uniforms with company logo or crest must be worn when on duty in a neat and well groomed manner.
- Dealing with difficult customers and solving issues to the best of their ability within the policy and framework set out for the site (Guest Service is a Priority)
- In problem situations, achieve a resolution through positive interactions with customers, co-workers, and supervisors/manager
- Each employee is required to log all the issues/events in the log book, and bring them to the attention of their direct supervisor
- Other duties as required
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Strong command of the English language and be to effectively communicate both in verbal and written mediums.
- Friendly, outgoing, even-tempered, team player
- Able to work independently
- Able to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally
- Be able to stand for long periods of time (on average 3 hours) and walking
- Repetitive motions with traffic safety wand to signal parkers into lot
- Time management
- Strong sense of organization and attention to detail
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Customer Service Experience required
- Driver's License an asset
- Parking related experience an asset
