Certified Journeyman Electrician – IRATA Certification preferred - PROJECT

Job Duties

• Bending and installing rigid conduit.
• Pulling cables.
• Installing junction boxes.
• Building strut support racks.
• Assisting with electrical scope duties.
• Performing industrial rope access work for maintenance.
• Assisting with the setup, inspection, and maintenance of rope access systems and equipment.
  
• Assisting with rigging and access.
  
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including operations, maintenance, and technical services, to complete projects and resolve any issues.
• Maintaining knowledge of industry best practices, safety standards, and regulatory requirements related to industrial rope access.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Journeyman Electrician ticket is required - 4th year/Journeyman Electrical Certificate(s).
• IRATA certification (any level) will be an asset.

If you have a Journeyman Electrician ticket but not IRATA certified and you are willing to become proficient in rope access, we can train you.

This is a project job of approximately 2 months in duration. Starting early/mid-August 2024.

Legal entitlement to work in Canada is mandatory. All potential employees will be required to complete a pre-employment fitness examination and an alcohol and drug screening.
