The general manager role will evolve over time beginning with overseeing and managing a start-up operation of warehousing, inventorying, and distributing of triumph produced and purchased material and products.
The position will move to the planning and execution phase to establish a metal panels and flashing fabrication/manufacturing operation as well as develop a roofing and waterproofing install and service operation modeled on the established and successful Triumph businesses and manage those elements. Ultimately the position will also be responsible for launching and overseeing a modular housing operation.
The operation will collaborate and cooperate with the other Triumph locations to take advantage of the sales synergies of the group and supply and distribute products to them as well as outside customers.
Job Duties:
- Manage, direct and monitor the overall performance of the manufacturing organization
- Achieve growth and sales targets by successfully managing the sales team.
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
- Design and implement a strategic business plan designed to produce profitable sales while growing the customer base.
- Hire, manage, oversee, and build the teams necessary as the location evolves.
- Establish, manage, and optimize effective processes.
- Manage and oversee quality control in all areas of the business.
- Develop and implement a continuous improvement culture, improving efficiencies and eliminating waste.
- Oversee and participate in the recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance management of employees.
- Prepare and present sales, revenue and expense related reports as well as realistic business forecasts to the management team.
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
- Oversee purchasing for both Manufacturing and Distribution Sales.
- Participate in the development and management of overall and department budgets.
- Oversee project management to ensure that all projects are completed to the customer's satisfaction, on budget, and on time.
- Manage and oversee sales, supplier and all stakeholders' relationships.
- Oversee the HR function to develop an engaged, empowered, and motivated work force.
