Sales Representative - Canada

Based out of Calgary, the Corporate Sales Representative will be focused on growing Lufkin's overall market share and revenue for the Canadian market. Products and services include downhole pumps and rods, automation, Beam Pumping Units (BPU) and associated services. This team member will gain business by building strong relationships through technical knowledge, integrity, customer service and product reliability.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Long-term profitable growth within Canada
  • Understanding customers' and market segment needs
  • Work closely with Location Managers to support their Sales Plans
  • Understanding industry trends, market dynamics and standards/regulatory developments
  • Understanding competitive landscape and maintain competitive and industry analysis
  • Writing proposals in response to RFQs and RFPs
  • Informal quotes while communicating our technical knowledge and value proposition
  • Participating in bidding strategy for key specific opportunities

Qualifications:

  • 5-10 Years of experience selling Artificial Lift
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong technical background
  • A self-starter with a strong drive
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Must have unrestricted authorization to work in Canada
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% to visit customers in remote locations as needed.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Powerpoint
  • SROD proficiency is a plus
  • Proficiency on Salesforce
