To support our growth, we are currently seeking a candidate to fill a full-time position as a Sr. Product Line Manager – Fuel Cell Solutions, a key contributing role within the organization.

Position Summary

The Sr. Product Line Manager – Fuel Cell Solutions will manage and lead business and product market needs and translate those needs into required resource allocation and Product Marketing deliverables to meet the company's business goals and objectives, marketing strategies for specific products to establish, enhance or distinguish product placement within the competitive arena. Interfaces with product development, manufacturing, and sales to develop new products and to ensure smooth new product(s) or product line(s) introduction that align with the company's vision. Manages product offerings through the entire product life cycle. Conducted competitive analysis to determine product positioning, market segmentation, pricing, volume, and product support strategy and identifying customer needs. Solution/product planning responsibilities include analyzing/understanding market trends and opportunities, customer business issues and solution requirements within a targeted market segment to develop need assessments and propose business and solutions strategies. Develops detailed product definitions and requirements for both R&D/product development and product marketing purposes.

Core Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead product from the cradle to the grave to ensure product financial plans are met
  • Maintain clear and timely communication around the health of the product line across all levels of the organization.
  • Reduce broad concepts and business strategies into structured product marketing plans
  • Leads specification and delivery of new products/launch process
  • Consults with management on long-range goals
  • Champion significant projects, programs and business initiatives using demonstrated creativity and ingenuity
  • Generate product collateral (roadmaps, sales tools, etc.)
  • Achieve Annual sales plan (targets)
  • Establish and maintain product pricing strategies in line with business objectives.
  • Strong project management skills
  • Identifies and researches new product development ideas and prioritizes the pipeline
  • Creates and executes business models (go to market)
  • Leads major product line projects
  • Influences or impacts others' priorities, decisions or activities
  • Determines own priorities, both tactical and strategic
  • Lead internal communication of the product line's strategy and progress
  • Product Application, Technical & Service support
  • Responsible for New Product launches and collateral, promotional materials in respective regions
  • Support teams in the field (Sales & Applications as required) to generate new opportunities and drive product design-in
  • Conduct regular market and competitor research
  • Perform ad hoc analysis for senior management on relevant metrics of the product line

Requirements

  • MS in Polymer or Material Science, Chemical Engineering, or any relevant field with 5 years of experience in Product Management for a technical product
  • Exceptional marketing and analytical skills
  • Experience with product life cycle management
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing in English, including technical and business terms
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Customer focused
  • Ability to operate across the business and in different environments and cultures
  • Multiple industry experience.
