Responsibilities

• Establishes personalized telephone and email contact with the client. Creates a climate of trust conducive to the service and review of a home or auto insurance policy. Educates and advises our clients on our products, while adhering to the company's underwriting policies.
• Sales and service of all lines of insurance offered through Desjardins.
• Work with the agent and office to establish and meet marketing goals.
• Meet deadlines with accuracy and thoroughness
• Implements modifications to current clients policies
• Conducts Client sales Appointments
• Services clients with billing and claims
• Administrative Duties as assigned by the Agent

Qualifications

• OTL Property * Property and Casualty* license required for position prior to being hired*
• LLQP * Life License required for position prior to being hired * OR within 18 months of being hired*
• Strong understanding of social media/ technology.
• College diploma in a related field. (Business or Marketing)
• Sales and Customer Service Experience.
• Reliable Transportation to Uxbridge, Ontario - Office is located Uxbridge, Ontario (Durham Ontario)
• 2 Years of Previous Insurance or Sales Experience Preferred.
• Previous insurance experience in various property and casualty disciplines, such as underwriting, claims, sales or service would be an asset.
