Clarenville Ford Preowned - Automotive Detailer

Looking for a rewarding new career within our organization? We have an immediate opening for a hard-working Automotive Detailer to join our growing team in this full-time permanent position. The primary responsibility of the Automotive Detailer is to clean new vehicles and refurbish used vehicles and customer vehicles within the scope of the customer's chosen specifications.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Routine cleaning and cosmetic maintenance, and inspections (Ex: vehicle washing, waxing, buffing, shampooing, etc)
• Wash, Vacuum, and apply protective coating throughout the vehicles' interior and exterior
• Clean upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces
• Treat spots with stain-resistant chemicals
• Clean engine bay and engine compartment
• Inspects vehicles for issues, such as dents, scratches, torn fabric, and any mechanical issues
• Restore the appearance of the vehicle to the best of your ability
• Completing the project based on the request of management.
• Coordinating work with team members
• Keeps work area neat and clean
• Use proper safety protection at all times when required
• Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner
• Reports any safety issues immediately to management
• Perform other tasks and duties as assigned
• Help maintain a healthy and safe working environment for everyone

What You Will Bring:

• Class 5 NL Drivers license
• Ability to work as part of a team, take direction and maintain a positive attitude.
• Good communication and organization skills
• Ability to work alone or with a team
• High level of integrity and work ethic
• Experience is required.
