You'll love your position as an Automotive Lube Tech and Lot Attendant:

  • Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy
  • Use appropriate tools, test equipment, and report defective or poorly functioning equipment
  • Inspect vehicle fluid levels, replace or replenish as necessary
  • Inspect and assess tire tread levels, wear patterns, valve quality, and overall health and install new tires
  • Repair punctures and replacing faulty valves
  • Balance tires and completing wheel alignment procedures
  • Apply lubricants to the moving parts of vehicle engines and lubricate wheel bearings to prevent excessive tire wear
  • Perform engine cleaning to prevent rust formations
  • Replace cabin, fuel, air, and oil filters as required
  • Perform tire rotations to ensure even tire wear
  • Test tire pressure and add air as needed
  • Move vehicles from various locations and support organizing the vehicles
  • Display the vehicles accordingly with stickers, pricing, signage, etc.
  • Ensure grounds are well maintained
  • Ensure the lot is organized and wash bays are clean at all times
  • Prepare new and pre-owned vehicles for customer deliveries
  • Support maintaining a clean shop
  • Other duties as assigned

We'd love to hear from you, if:

  • Valid G Driver's License and clean driver's abstract
  • High School Diploma or equivalency
  • Completion of a postsecondary education lube technician program is an asset
  • Proven experience in automotive maintenance and repair is an asset
  • Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication skills
