POSITION SUMMARY:

To oversee and execute all marketing activities. The ideal candidate will develop and implement marketing strategies that build brand awareness, generate qualified leads, and support our business development efforts across various channels. You will work closely with our business development team, project managers, and external stakeholders to promote our environmental services, foster customer relationships, and enhance our market presence.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Marketing Planning and Execution

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing plan aligned with the company's overall business goals.
  • Lead market research efforts to identify trends, competitive analysis, and customer insights to inform marketing strategies.
  • Establish and track marketing KPIs to measure the effectiveness of campaigns, making data-driven decisions to optimize results.
  • Identify target market segments and develop tailored campaigns for each, including industries such as construction, remediation, and environmental consulting.
  • Develop branding strategies and ensure consistent messaging across all channels.

Content Creation and Campaign Management

  • Oversee the creation of compelling marketing content, including case studies, white papers, blog posts, and social media updates, that highlight our services and environmental expertise.
  • Manage the production of promotional materials, digital assets, and collateral for sales and business development teams.
  • Plan, create, and manage email marketing campaigns, social media advertising, and SEO strategies to generate leads.
  • Work closely with external agencies or freelance resources to develop high-quality creative assets, when needed.

Digital Marketing and Web Presence

  • Optimize the company's website, ensuring SEO best practices are applied to increase organic traffic and improve lead generation.
  • Manage all aspects of the company's online presence, including social media accounts, Google Ads, and other digital platforms.
  • Implement and track paid media campaigns (PPC, retargeting, and display ads) to support lead generation initiatives.
  • Monitor website analytics and conversion rates, continuously improving the user experience and content effectiveness.

Lead Generation and CRM Management

  • Collaborate with the sales and business development teams to create marketing strategies that generate qualified leads.
  • Leverage CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to track leads, campaigns, and customer interactions, ensuring marketing and sales alignment.
  • Analyze lead quality and marketing-sourced deals to improve campaign targeting and messaging.

Event Coordination and Brand Representation

  • Lead the planning and execution of company-sponsored events, trade shows, webinars, and conferences to enhance brand visibility.
  • Develop marketing materials and displays for exhibitions, ensuring alignment with branding guidelines.
  • Represent the company at industry events, building relationships with partners, customers, and industry influencers.

Internal Communications and Collaboration

  • Collaborate with the business development team to ensure that marketing efforts align with sales objectives and strategies.
  • Support internal communication initiatives, including newsletters, corporate updates, and internal presentations.
  • Provide regular marketing performance updates to the leadership team, highlighting key insights and areas of improvement.

Health and Safety

Reads, understands, and follows Milestone's Corporate Health and Safety Program, Policy and Procedures. Ensures health and safety is considered in the performance of all activities both on and off the job. Participation in H & S initiatives will be monitored and reviewed, as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in any of the following fields Marketing, Business Administration, Communications
  • Certificates in Digital Marketing, Content Marketing will be considered a plus.

Experience Required:

5-10 years in:

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organized with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple, often competing, tasks and timelines.
  • Comfortable working and collaborating with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong Computer skills. Proficient in Microsoft suite, specifically Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Keen to take on challenges and contribute to the success of the team and company.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Remote role with quarterly meetings at Head Office in Langley.
