Life Insurance Broker
BIG Alta Vista is seeking an LLQP licensed broker with a minimum of 2 years of life insurance sales experience to join our team. This role requires a relationship-oriented individual with strong organizational, analytical, time-management, sales, and prospecting skills. You will need to be comfortable working with technology and in a digital environment, in both a customer facing role, as well as an internal role as our brokerage's Life Insurance expert.

Requirements & Qualifications:
Must have
LLQP license
2+ years' experience as a Life Insurance Sales Broker/Producer.
Degree in any discipline from a Canadian University or Insurance Diploma/Certificate from a College.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills, and superior interpersonal skills in English.
Reside in the Greater Ottawa Metropolitan area.
Nice-to-have
CFP, CSC or similar professional designations are an asset.
Group Life/Health, Retirement Solutions, and Segregated Funds sales experience is an asset.
Fluency in other languages is an asset.
Responsibilities:
Generate life/health insurance sales leads.
Manage leads and provide quotes to prospective clients in a timely manner.
Review policies and recommended coverages based on the client's needs.
Implement effective strategies to generate leads, follow-up and close the deal.
Deliver an exceptional customer experience from the first point of contact.
Prioritize building a quality book of business to ensure client loyalty and maintain good retention ratios.
Comply with market underwriting guidelines as well as company policies and standards.
Ensure appropriate forms and other policy requirements are completed.
Co-ordinate and follow up on client documents and payments.
Identify cross sell opportunities to assist clients with all their insurance needs
Consistently achieve monthly sales targets and comply with business quality targets.

Salary Range:
This is a Commission Only position which provides commission on new business and renewals.
It can approximately translate into the following depending on commission earned:
Year 1 - $50,000 to $75,000+
Year 2 - $60,000 to $100,000+
Year 3 - $100,000 to $150,000+
