This is a part-time supporting role to our maintenance manager for weekend, holiday and vacation coverage.
(Additional hours may be available in other departments).
Summing it up
The maintenance technician is responsible for applying basic fixes to equipment and building systems and ensure facilities are tidy and functional. Being reliable with a keen eye for detail, this role often has guest interaction and opportunities to promote a positive image of the property to guests by being friendly, professional and able to address problems or special requests.
What you'll be doing
- Maintain hot tubs
- Delivering and connecting BBQ propane tanks to rental units.
- Perform maintenance to all guest areas such as repairing furniture, unclogging drains, changing light bulbs, replacing broken items, painting, caulking of tubs and showers, repair and replacement of bathroom fixtures.
- Pick up debris or litter around the property and common areas.
Who you are
- Ability to work with little supervision and maintain high level of performance.
- Proven work experience as a handyman or maintenance.
- Physical ability to work to bend, crouch, climb stairs and being in motion/standing for prolonged periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
