LOCATION: Toronto, ON – Marketing and Communications
COMPENSATION: $53,630 – 65,589 annually prorated

To help fulfill its mission, LOFT is hiring a Digital Marketing Coordinator.
Job Summary
To support activities that help strengthen the LOFT brand, grow and engage various audiences, and connect donors through all digital channels.
What You Will Do
  • Content
    • Collaborate with the Marketing & Communications team to develop digital content that aligns with all corporate marketing materials. Tailor content to ensure that it is compelling and emotive to leveraging engagement and proper consent is followed to ensure privacy compliance
  • Social Media
    • Update and maintain all LOFT social channels, following the establish calendar, ensuring timely execution to promote LOFT and support fundraising
    • Post/traffic messages through multiple simultaneous networks, maintaining a high quality of postings along with high post frequency to optimize engagement of various social media audiences
    • c. Provide front line response to inquiries and requests across all channels and trafficking them to the appropriate departments. Monitor and coordinate responses to public and private messages
  • Email
    • Support the team with the delivery of automated and scheduled external email messages, and track results. Proofread as needed
    • Maintain and edit email templates
  • Website
    • Update and maintain the website, build landing pages for campaigns, events, and other needs.
    • Support task related to front-end of organization's CRM system (RE NXT, Luminate Online), creating external facing forms, templates, and documenting processes.
    • Monitor the functionality of the website, plug-in's, donation pages are functioning as planned
    • Perform website maintenance and test new donation pages
  • Visual & Story Assets
    • Support the production of visual assets (images and videos) as needed using Adobe Illustrator or Premier Pro, InDesign, or Photoshop
    • Coordinate organization's photo and video libraries which includes organizing, tagging, and serving as the resource for photo asset needs and requests. Ensure partners use assets correctly
    • Coordinate organization's story bank which includes organizing, tagging, and serving as the resource for story asset needs and requests. Ensure partners use assets correctly
  • Analysis
    • Use data and analytics to track and monitor website, email, and social media traffic and optimize campaigns based on best-performing strategies on a monthly basis. Provide recommendations within established timelines
    • Develop and maintain dashboards including digital indicators of engagement and growth for website, social media and fundraising
  • Other duties as assigned to support the success of the Development & Communications team

What You Bring:
Must Haves

  • Post-secondary diploma/degree in marketing, digital communications or related discipline
  • A minimum of 2 years related working experience in a similar capacity
  • Proven experience with email marketing platforms and social media channels (includes writing, scheduling, automating and analyzing)
  • Experience working with The Raiser's Edge, NXT and/or Luminate Online is preferred
  • Experience of WordPress is required
  • Understanding of cultural competency and anti-oppression framework

Work Environment
  • Combination of walking and sitting for a long period of time. Ability to use office equipment and computers.
  • Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to work at a desk, conference table or in meetings of various configurations.
