Salary: $20-$25 DOE

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Automotive Call Center Operator and Appointment Coordinator to join our Vehicle Acquisition Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls, scheduling appointments for vehicle acquisitions, and providing exceptional customer service. This role requires excellent communication skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inbound and Outbound Call Handling:
    • Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally.
    • Make outbound calls to follow up on leads, inquiries, and promotional campaigns related to vehicle acquisition.
    • Provide accurate information about the vehicle acquisition process, trade-in values, and current promotions.
  • Appointment Scheduling:
    • Schedule appointments for customers interested in selling or trading in their vehicles.
    • Confirm appointments and notify customers of any changes or delays.
    • Coordinate with acquisition specialists and managers to optimize appointment slots.
  • Customer Service:
    • Greet customers warmly and address their inquiries and concerns regarding vehicle acquisition.
    • Resolve customer complaints or escalate issues to the appropriate department.
    • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
  • Lead Management:
    • Update and maintain customer records and leads in the CRM system.
    • Ensure all appointment details and customer interactions are accurately recorded.
    • Generate and review daily, weekly, and monthly reports on lead status and call metrics.
  • Communication and Coordination:
    • Communicate effectively with acquisition specialists, managers, and other team members.
    • Provide customers with updates on the status of their vehicle acquisition process.
    • Assist in coordinating vehicle inspections and appraisals.
  • Sales Support:
    • Promote additional services and offers related to vehicle acquisition where appropriate.
    • Inform customers of current promotions and special offers.
    • Assist with follow-up on unsold leads and customer feedback.

Qualifications:

  • Education and Experience:
    • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
    • Previous experience in a call center, customer service, or automotive sales environment is highly desirable.
  • Skills and Abilities:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Proficiency in using computer systems and software, including CRM and scheduling tools.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment.
    • Customer-centric attitude with a focus on achieving acquisition targets.
  • Other Requirements:
    • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, if necessary.
    • Knowledge of automotive products, vehicle acquisition processes, and trade-in evaluations is a plus.

Working Conditions:

  • Primarily office-based with frequent use of a computer and telephone.
  • May require extended periods of sitting and working at a desk.
  • Occasional interaction with customers in the showroom or acquisition center.
