Title: Sr Devops Engineer

Location: Calgary AB (Onsite)

Duration: 3 Months Contract

Responsibilities:

• Migrate and test migrating significant Control-M jobs (PowerShell, OS procedures, and SQL scripts for Oracle and other databases) from Azure and AWS EC2 to AWS Step Functions, AWS Batch and Lambda
• Provision AWS infrastructure using Terraform IaC and CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop observability capability for execution monitoring.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless migration and zero-downtime deployment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve migration-related issues.
• Document migration processes and best practices.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in cloud migration projects, specifically Step Functions, Batch, & Systems Manager for AWS.
• Strong knowledge in Azure and AWS.
• Proficiency in Terraform IaC, GitHub platform for source code management and git branching pattern
• Experience in GitHub Actions for CICD.
• Experience in PowerShell, SQL, etc based scheduled / cron jobs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer)
