We have a great opportunity for a Paint Prep to join our team at our Crown Autobody & Glass South located in the Waverley Auto Mall, at 800-1717 Waverley Street. Crown Autobody & Glass is a state of the art autobody shop with all new and updated modern European equipment, specializing in import brands. As a Paint Prep, you will work as part of the production team that prepares, paints and cleans all kinds of new and used vehicles. The hard work and attention to detail is what gives our customers a “wow” when they take their vehicles home!

After the initial 90 days of comprehensive training, success will mean having the ability and skills to work with multiple computer programs, independently prepping vehicles to go for paint jobs and provide an exceptional experience for the customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Clean and prepare vehicle surface for paint application
  • Assist painter in pre-paint blending needs
  • Adhere to production deadlines and scheduled dates
  • Disassemble, clean, and reassemble sprayers and power equipment
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • 1 year paint prep experience (preferred)
  • Ability to work in a fast pace, high performance environment
  • Highly organized with an ability to learn new skills quickly
  • Valid driver's license
  • Detail-oriented
  • Flexibility with work hours and ability to work the occasional Saturday
