Salary: $100k - $120k CAD per year

We're looking for a hands-on, creative, and strategic Marketing Manager who will own our content creation, distribution, and lead generation efforts. This is a generalist role, perfect for someone who enjoys taking full ownership of marketing activities. You'll manage the marketing budget, create engaging content, and ensure that it gets in front of the right audience to drive qualified leads to our sales team.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Content Creation:
    • Develop and execute content strategies, including blog posts, white papers, case studies, social media posts, webinars, and videos.
    • Manage all aspects of content creation, from ideation to writing and design (or working with freelancers/designers as needed).
    • Ensure all content aligns with brand messaging and drives engagement.
  2. Content Distribution & Promotion:
    • Manage distribution of content across various channels (e.g., website, email, social media, third-party platforms).
    • Optimize content for SEO to ensure strong search engine rankings.
    • Set up and manage paid campaigns (LinkedIn, Google Ads, etc.) to promote content and generate leads.
  3. Lead Generation:
    • Build and manage lead generation campaigns across various platforms, tracking effectiveness and optimizing for better performance.
    • Develop and maintain landing pages, forms, and calls to action (CTAs) to convert visitors into leads.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure leads are qualified and sales-ready.
  4. Analytics & Reporting:
    • Track and analyze marketing performance metrics (website traffic, leads, conversion rates, etc.).
    • Optimize campaigns based on data insights to improve ROI and achieve lead generation goals.
    • Report regularly on key performance indicators (KPIs) and overall marketing effectiveness.
  5. Budget Management:
    • Manage the marketing budget, allocating spend across channels and campaigns to maximize ROI.
    • Propose new strategies and experiments to expand lead generation efforts while staying within budget.

Key Metrics for Success:

  • Content Performance:
    • Content Engagement Metrics: Page views, time on page, bounce rate, shares, and social engagement.
    • SEO Metrics: Organic search traffic, keyword rankings, backlinks generated from content.
  • Lead Generation:
    • Number of Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs).
    • Cost per Lead (CPL) and overall Lead Conversion Rate.
    • Lead-to-Customer Conversion Rate (working with sales to ensure quality).
  • Campaign Performance:
    • Campaign ROI (Return on Investment) based on leads and revenue generated.
    • Click-Through Rate (CTR) and Conversion Rate for paid campaigns.
    • Email Open Rates and CTR for email marketing.
  • Growth Metrics:
    • Growth in website traffic.
    • Growth in social media followers and engagement.
    • Growth in email subscribers.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in B2B SaaS marketing, preferably in a generalist role.
  • Proven experience in content creation, lead generation, and campaign management.
  • Strong copywriting skills with the ability to create compelling and engaging content.
  • Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, HubSpot, and paid advertising platforms (Google Ads, LinkedIn).
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making ability.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Basic graphic design or video editing skills.
  • Experience working in a startup or high-growth environment.
  • Familiarity or experience with AI-driven marketing tools (e.g., content generation, SEO optimization, or data analysis tools powered by AI).
  • Knowledge of automation tools and processes to streamline marketing workflows.
