Plasman, Windsor 1 Manufacturing, 5250 Outer Drive, Oldcastle, ON, N9G 0C3, is immediately seeking a new member to join our team as:

PROCESS TECHNICIAN - Weekend Crew

Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated team player with good communication skills. The Process Technician is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

  • Mold set-up as required
  • Ensure proper set up as set out by the Technical/Shift Supervisor
  • Monitor and make process adjustments as required to maintain quality and productivity levels.
  • Direct Set-up technicians, in a manner conducive to their development and education.
  • Operate overhead crane in a safe manner
  • Set-up end of arm tooling on robots
  • Ensure first/last off inspections are completed and maintain SPC aspects of process and react when problems arise
  • Perform production runs when required
  • Perform tryout and production related duties as required and communicate concerns

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND/OR DESIGNATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must possess a secondary school diploma or equivalent, with preference given to those who have completed related post-secondary education


MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Preferred 2 years working within a technical capacity
  • Experience with injection molding processes and set up within a manufacturing environment

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have reliable transportation, and be willing and able to work all three shifts (Days, Afternoons, Midnights)
