Reporting to the Financial Controller, the AP Clerk is primarily responsible for preparation and review of payable transactions. The successful candidate will be an individual with a strong accounting background, an analytical and critical thinking focus who can work with individuals across multiple disciplines to ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the accurate and timely processing of invoices, ensuring compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
- Maintain positive relationships with vendors and resolve payment discrepancies where needed
- Review and approve payment batches, ensuring proper coding and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Reconcile accounts payable records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Generate regular reports and analysis on accounts payable activities, presenting findings to senior management as required.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and industry-specific requirements.
Qualifications
- Diploma or certification in accounting is preferred.
- 3+ years' experience in core accounting processes is preferred.
- Experience in a collaborative environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to learn, grow and develop in the role and into the future.
