Sodexo is looking for a talented experienced Cook for our University unit at Trinity Western to join our dynamic team. This position is a full-time role, night shift. You will be offered is a great team environment, work/life balance and the ability to cook healthy and appealing menus for consumers.
QualificationsAbout YOU
You are an experienced cook who enjoys working in a team environment, ensuring high quality results and meeting food safety, HACCP and OHS standards.
During your mandate, it will be your responsibility to support the Chef in the execution of daily activities defined for our client contract regarding all food service offerings and catering service. You will use your skills to help create an excellent food service offering for the clients and guests of this site. You will be asked to prepare general food production, cooking, serving as well as other assigned tasks. You will be serving food on the line directly to clients and can be asked to assist at the cash. You will be required to follow the various Sodexo programs: Food Safety, Health and Safety, Policies and Procedures, and Marketing.
You have a minimum of 4-5 years experience in a similar role, excellent customer service and teamwork skills. Strong planning, organizational and time management skills as well as computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). You are able to work under pressure and ensure compliance with health and safety procedures. Red Seal is an asset not mandatory
