Environmental / Regulatory Lead
The ideal candidate would bring positivity and enjoy working in the field and remotely from your home office . Your technical abilities, regulatory experience, and personality allow you to complete environmental assessment, mitigation, wetland, wildlife, and water project work within our growing Environmental / Regulatory division. The position will be supported by a talented group of regulatory and technical specialist as well as senior management. The position is primarily focused on Oil and Gas projects however CORE also works within the renewable energy, public infrastructure, construction, and reclamation sectors.
What you bring to the table:
- Passion for field work and field data collection.
- Experience working on a multi-disciplinary team of regulatory, technical, and non-technical specialists
- Experience and acumen working directly with site supervisors and superintendents to build relationships.
- Experience working with BCER, DFO, and other Regulators
- Knowledge of applicable federal and provincial Acts and Regulations
- Flexibility and ability to pivot to meet changing priorities
- Member of a professional association (e.g. P.Eng, RPBio, P. Ag, CPESC) or working towards a designation considered an asset
- Demonstrated values of Creativity, Opportunity, Relationships and Excellence.
