The Fraser Valley Child Development Centre is a community-based organization providing innovative, strength based, family centered services to children, youth and their families on the traditional, ancestral and unceded territories of the Stó:lō and Nlaka'pamux peoples. POSITION SUMMARY

This position is to provide behavioural intervention to children and youth with developmental delays. The interventionist will be required to follow the recommendations outlined in the child's behaviour plan and participate as a member of a multi-disciplinary team. Flexible hours including afternoons and early evenings. Must have access to a vehicle and valid driver's license.

Travel to Chilliwack and Mission will be required for this job.

POSITION TYPE: Permanent, Part-Time, 0.43 FTE (16hrs./week)

WAGE RATE: $27.91-$29.60

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • Grade 12
  • One year experience or training in early childhood education or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Valid BC driver's license with reliable use of a car for work

LOCATION & TRAVEL: This position will be based in Abbotsford and may require travel to other FVCDC locations in the Fraser Valley, with travel time and mileage covered by the employer.
