We are seeking a motivated and skilled Software Architect to support our software development efforts. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of software design principles and architecture patterns. You will work with cross-functional teams to design scalable, high-performance applications that meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in designing and implementing software architecture for new and existing applications.
• Participate in technical discussions and collaborate with development teams.
• Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to enhance software delivery.
• Work with product management to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Contribute to code reviews and help developers adhere to best practices.
• Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to support architectural decisions.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in software development and architecture, and design patterns
• Understanding of microservices architecture, modular monoliths, cloud computing (AWS, Azure, or GCP, Fly.io), and DevOps practices.
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Nice to have

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with Golang, Python and Typescript, Node.js, and Ruby on Rails
• Certifications from Cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP are a plus!
• Kubernetes certifications are a plus!
