About the Position

Purple Sales Solutions, a Canadian Company based in downtown Toronto, is looking for a Junior Talent Sourcing Specialist with knowledge of Human Resources and Sales and Marketing who is comfortable with solutions such as BambooHR and Thinkific. This role will be integral to building Purple Sales' internal operations, policies, and procedures.

We are looking for candidates with at least one year of experience sourcing sales talent within the tech and SaaS industry and outstanding administrative and communication skills. As someone with a solid sourcing background, you will be working as part of a growing, driven, supportive, and dynamic team with a strong culture of sharing experience, knowledge, and skills.

Currently, because Purple Sales is experiencing significant growth, we require assistance in the Talent department with the following tasks:

Key Accountabilities:

  • Engage with Hiring Managers (as directed) to take detailed briefs on role requirements, contributing knowledge and best practices to add value to discussions.
  • Proactively source (identify) candidates utilizing a broad range of channels and techniques (e.g., search engines, job board databases, social networking sites)
  • Develop your network of sector-specific candidates and use networking skills to identify and engage with talented candidates (e.g., referrals from referrals, cold-calling, etc.)
  • Manage job board advertising and career-site postings, ensuring adverts are compelling accurate, and positioned for maximum effectiveness.
  • Prepare, post, and maintain job postings on internal and external recruitment sources.
  • Engage, screen, and qualify candidates to determine suitability and obtain the required information to move them to the following stages with the hiring managers.
  • Ensure regular communication with the Account Management team to understand ongoing requirements and share the activity's progress.
  • Maintain agreed service levels and targets.
  • Participate and contribute to team meetings.

Qualifications/Skills Requirements:

  • Passionate about the candidate's experience
  • Experience using specialist techniques (i.e., Boolean searching) to source candidates through active and passive channels. Proven success in utilizing social networking sites to source candidates successfully
  • Experience working with recruitment systems and learning management systems and maintaining a high level of data integrity
  • Demonstrable recruitment experience, ideally within an in-house international marketing or sales agency capacity
  • Experience working in Technology and SaaS space
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong prioritization, organization, and time management skills.

Job type: Part-time with the possibility of full-time

Start: November 2024

Hybrid: On-site a few days a week, place of work: Toronto Bloor Street and Younge Street
