Job Description

Reporting to the Manager, Compensation, Benefits & HR Support Services, the HR Analyst is a temporary role that will play a key role in analyzing and optimizing our HR processes during this unique period of transformation at Halton Healthcare. In this role you will work closely with various teams across the Human Resources department to document, map and improve workflows, ensure efficiency and compliance across all HR functions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conduct process mapping to identify and capture existing processes, while reviewing for areas of improvement within HR Operations.
  • Collaborate with HR colleagues and other stakeholders to gather requirements and document current processes.
  • Develop detailed process maps and flowcharts using appropriate tools and methodologies.
  • Analyze data and trends to recommend process enhancements giving consideration to best practices, applicable employment legislation or collective agreements, and in preparation for moving to a new HRIS system.
  • Create and maintain documentation for all HR processes, ensuring clarity and accessibility for applicable teams.
  • Assist in implementing process improvements and monitoring their effectiveness, making recommendations for refinement, where necessary.
  • Support other HR projects by providing data analysis, research and process mapping expertise.
Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years' progressive experience in HR analysis or similar role, with a focus on process mapping.
  • Completed diploma in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field.
  • Completion of Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement certification preferred.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with process mapping tools (i.e., Visio) and other data analysis software.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret HR data and translate
  • Knowledge and familiarity with standards and practices for provincial and federal employment legislation.
  • Understanding of unionized environments (preferably healthcare) considered an asset.
  • Strong analytical skills; ability to conduct research and condense complex information.
  • Working knowledge of HRIS and other HR/Payroll-related applications.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Additional Information

Hours: Monday to Friday - 8:30am - 4:30pm with ability to flex schedule as required for operational needs

Salary: Min: $31.75 per hour ($61,913 annually) to Max. $39.73 per hour ($77,474 annually).
