Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Engagement Work: Contribute to tax-focused engagements, working through all preparation stages of deliverables (compilations, assurance, tax returns and other forms filings, etc.) while ensuring deadlines and time budgets are met on simultaneous jobs.
- Team Participation: Collaborate with multiple team members to meet the client and firm objectives, identify issues and possible solutions, create time and process efficiencies and support and foster our professional work environment.
- Professional Development: Gain a depth and breadth of experience across diverse industries, preparing you for CPA certification and future leadership roles.
A successful candidate will have:
- Education: Degree in accounting, including strong academic performance in accounting and tax courses.
- Experience: Prior co-op or public practice experience is a strong asset, particularly in tax or compilation work.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with TaxPrep and CaseWare is a plus
- Key Skills: Effective communication, attention to detail, client service orientation, ethical approach and standards to performance, the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines, and dedication and willingness to learn from and work with others are essential to thrive in this role.
