Leading Edge Electrical is an established electrical contractor searching for highly motivated Apprentice Electricians (2nd -4th year) who are ambitious to take the reins of their own career. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized and team oriented.

The Role:
As an Electrician Apprentice, you will work under the supervision of licensed electricians to learn and perform a variety of electrical tasks. These include installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, as well as troubleshooting and ensuring compliance with safety standards. This role is ideal for someone passionate about developing practical skills and pursuing a long-term career in the electrical industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of state-of-the-art
    electrical systems and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical codes and regulations, prioritizing safety
    standards.
  • Perform essential tasks such as running wires, installing fixtures, and
    connecting components.
  • Collaborate with experienced professionals to troubleshoot and resolve
    electrical challenges.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to enhance productivity
    and innovation.
  • Adhere to strict safety protocols and procedures to safeguard yourself and
    your team.

Key Qualifications:

  • Completion of first year Electrical Apprenticeship.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Enrolled in or completion of an electrical apprenticeship program.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems and components.
  • Ability to interpret electrical diagrams and blueprints.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Physical stamina to handle manual labor and adapt to various work
    environments.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Compensation:

  • $22.04 - $39.67/hour
  • 4% Vacation
  • 3% RRSP matching
