As the champion of first impressions you will provide a wide variety of confidential and administrative support services to all SRM team members.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general clerical duties to include but not be limited to:
- Distributes mail/courier.
- Tracks leadership team's vacation schedules.
- Compiles and maintains contact lists.
- Updates staff's contact information.
- Maintains the company's office supplies.
- Filing.
- Revises and formats various documents.
- Taking and entering customer orders, assisting with delivery scheduling.
- Send out documents to any new hires via online system. Assist with all other HR requests.
- Performs general accounting duties:
- Billing.
- Accounts Payable.
- Accounts Receivable.
- Manage office communications (answer phones, retrieve messages, forward calls).
- Customer service
- Participate and contribute to the SRM safety culture.
- Help coordinate and update the service/ repair schedules for the commercial fleet.
Requirements:
- Minimum two years of full-time experience as an Administrative Assistant or similar role.
- Strong typing skills - able to type correspondence, tables, emails, envelopes, labels, documents, forms, etc.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office applications, including Excel and an aptitude for learning various computer applications.
- Tactful, diplomatic and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to utilize judgement and work with minimal supervision.
- Able to take the initiative to liaise with other departments and/or external sources.
- Experience with Quick books and BambooHR an asset.
- Experience in construction or concrete industry an asset.
