We are looking for anexperienced Maintenance Managerto join ourAthabasca OSB Division,located inSlave Lake, Alberta. Thisstate-of-the-art facilityhas the longest continuous press in North America, giving us the ability to produce a diverse range of innovative products for customers around the world.
Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:
- University degree/technical diplomaor aJourneyperson trades certificationor extensive experience in a relevant field.
- Managementexperience leading maintenance teams withinamanufacturing.
- Experience with maintenance planning, condition monitoring, shutdown execution and implementing reliability programs.
- Experience withproject management, including capital projects.
- Experiencemaintaining a large maintenance budget.
- Knowledge ofmanufacturing and maintenance processes.
- Knowledge andexperiencein OSB manufacturing is an asset.
- Provenability to manage change.
In this role, you will:
- Beresponsible forplanningandorganizing maintenance activities.
- Build relationships internallyacross all employee groups at the mill.
- Analyzeall aspects of yourdepartments performanceandproactivelyidentify and implement opportunitiesto improveoperational effectiveness.
- Directandorganize third-party vendors.
- Partner with the productionandproject teams todeliver results.
