Job Description: As a Bricklayer / Concrete Worker, you will be responsible for tasks such as laying bricks, blocks, or stone to construct or repair walls, structures, and surfaces, as well as working with concrete for various construction projects. You should be familiar with preparing surfaces, and ensuring precision in your work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Laying bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry materials
• Mixing mortar or concrete and spreading it evenly to bond bricks or blocks
• Working with rebar and other structural reinforcements
• Constructing walls, chimneys, and other structures using brick or block
• Applying concrete for foundations, floors, or walls
• Following safety protocols and guidelines on site
  
• Ensuring quality of work with attention to detail

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Bricklayer or Concrete Worker
• Familiarity with construction site safety regulations
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials and equipment
• Comfortable working in different weather conditions
• Strong physical stamina and attention to detail
• Ability to read blueprints and technical plans
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Valid certifications or tickets for construction work (if applicable)

Nice to Haves (But Not Required):

• Experience working on roofing projects or elevated spaces.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Tickets for Fall Protection, First Aid, and/or WHMIS.
• Living in Vancouver, Lower Mainland, or nearby.
