Full job descriptionSenior Nurse Practitioner
We are looking to add an experienced Nurse Practitioner to the team. This clinician will not only provide comprehensive evidence-based patient care and ensure the smooth functioning of the clinic's services, but will also mentor and support novice clinicians joining our team.
Schedule:& Flexible, Day shifts only, no evenings or weekends (Opportunity to work 3+ days per week or 20+ weekly hours if desired)
Remuneration:& $145-160/hr, based on experience

Responsibilities:
- Deliver episodic and longitudinal care that incorporates innovative treatments for preventative healthcare, including emerging therapies, alongside evidence-based primary care.
- Perform comprehensive assessments and order diagnostic testing, procedural interventions, personalized pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions, and facilitate specialist referrals when indicated.
- Provide regular patient follow-up to promote health and educate on disease prevention and management
- Collaborate with other nurse practitioners, registered nurses, physicians and our allied health team members to foster a team-based, interdisciplinary approach
- Opportunities to deliver complex and specialized care, including but not limited to; prenatal care, pediatric health wellness, chronic disease prevention and management
- Support recruitment, onboarding, training and mentoring of novice clinical team members, shaping the clinical delivery team of the future.
- Demonstrate an interest in functional medicine or be open to taking courses in functional medicine.
What do you need to apply?
- Masters of Nursing - Nurse Practitioner (MN-NP) degree or equivalent, with a post-Master's diploma (PMD)
- Current registration as a practicing Nurse Practitioner with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
Preferred
- 8+ years of primary care experience preferred
- Exceptional organizational skills, with a positive, solution oriented and innovative mindset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and patients
- Proficiency in technology-supported care, including familiarity with EMRs
- Commitment to delivering comprehensive patient-centered care with a focus on an exceptional customer experience
