Assessment Consultant
The Role
Reporting to the Assessment Manager, the Assessment Consultant is responsible for identifying multiple business process improvement opportunities within a client's organization and supporting the development of an approach to tactically influence the client that Trindent is the business partner of choice when considering organizational improvements and financial benefits.
Travel/ Visa & Other Requirements
Travel to client sites is a requirement of this role. Candidates must have a flexible travel schedule and be willing to commit to 100% travel from Sunday to Friday each week.
Consultants may be assigned to work with Trindent clients anywhere in North America and must be able to qualify for a TN cross border work Visa. Successful candidates must be Canadian or USA passport holders.
Candidates must be able to pass a criminal background check as part of the application process.
To access client locations, the Assessment Consultant will undergo scheduled and random testing administered through the North American Substance Abuse Program (NASAP) for drugs of abuse.
Responsibilities
• Supports the Assessment Manager and Lead Analyst to ensure successful execution of deliverables to maximize probability of assessment conversion.
• Supports accuracy of any Assessment Business Case through proof of claim, Project Financial Evaluation and Baseline/Evaluation analysis to minimize financial risks to the firm.
• Adhere to standards to ensure each assessment is delivered on time.
• Works with the Assessment Manager and engagement teams to identify and facilitate discussion and contracting of more work opportunities with clients.
• Supports quality reviews and on-site audits for client satisfaction, effective relationship building, and to identify/assist with tactical or technical issues.
• Builds relationships with clients to convert assessments, secure follow-on business and maintains the status of a trusted advisor to Trindent's most senior clients.
• Perform other responsibilities as required.
Do you have the skills to be successful in this role?
• Bachelor's degree in business or relevant degree specific to Trindent's industry verticals (Oil & Gas, Finance, Health Care)
• Holder of a Canadian passport (necessary for correct travel visas to be obtained)
• 1-3 years prior work experience in related fields
• Knowledge of processes improvement methodologies with a focus on operational KPIs, active management, and continuous process improvement
• Data mining and data analysis skills in Excel
• Advanced proficiency in and knowledge of MS Office Suite
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work well with clients and colleagues
• Ability to work in ambiguous situations, remain flexible, and to successfully adapt to a variety of working environments
• Superior numeracy, problem solving, and relationship building skills
• Clear understanding and following of business ethics and professionalism
• Experience with the following process: Data scrubbing, Process Analysis and Critiques, KPI Grids, Process Observations, Management Studies, Workload Analysis, Skills Analysis, Behavior Assessments, Sustainability Plan and Standard Operating Procedures
• Availability/ flexibility for 100% travel
• Located near a major airport
