Job Description:

As a Landscape Construction Foreman, you will independently lead and execute residential and commercial landscape construction projects with precision. Your role involves mentoring the team, leading by example with boots on the ground, ensuring craftsmanship, excellence, and prioritizing on-site safety. Key Responsibilities:

• Independently lead and execute landscape projects from inception to completion.
• Operate and manage a variety of construction equipment with skill and precision.
  
• Lead and execute activities such as grading, hardscaping, planting, and irrigation.
• Read and Understand blueprints and project specifications.
• Mentor and lead a crew, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Ensure safety in every aspect of the job.
• Work in conjunction with Project Manager and other division manager to ensure quality work.
• Ensure daily tracking of job progress using company software.
• Perform seasonal winter work on anti ice and snow removal as required.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in Landscape Construction / Install/ Hardscape or similar industry.
  
• Exposure leading teams effectively.
• Solid Knowledge landscape construction processes, techniques, materials.
• Proficiency in machine operations is an asset
• Proficiency in landscape grading and site preparation (leveling, drainage, slope calculations)
• Proficiency building retaining walls (Allan block, dry stack, gravity walls boulders, masonry).
• Proficiency in paver installations (patterns, types, i.e. aqua pave)
• Knowledge in reading blueprints and project specifications.
  
• Strong communication, leadership and time management skills.
• Ability to use company software (LMN experience is an asset).
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
• Class 5 driver's license.
  
• Ability to stand, walk, bend and stoop for extended periods.
• Ability to work in adverse weather conditions.

$40 to $45 per hour
