Full job descriptionOverviewWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Finance to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of our organization and driving the company's financial strategy to foster sustainable growth and profitability.
This includes financial planning, preparing and analyzing financial statements, financial reporting, and utilizing your strong analytical skills to provide insights and recommendations to drive business growth. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and executives to ensure the financial success of the organization.
Key to the role is communication and leadership. This position mentors, manages and supports the development of on site staff in Accounting, Admin and HR.
Responsibilities
  • Manage financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to ensure financial stability and growth.
  • Oversee financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Lead financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and business development initiatives.
  • Supervise account reconciliation processes and ensure accuracy in financial records.
  • Provide leadership in cost management strategies to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Conduct risk analysis and implement risk management practices to safeguard financial assets.
  • Oversee cash management and cash flow planning
  • Manage intercompany transactions and bank accounts
  • Manage and oversee collections, stepping in to address and resolve difficult accounts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive corporate finance initiatives.

  • Compliance and reporting responsibilities; ensure full and current compliance, monitor internal controls, coordinate external government audits
  • Support all month and year end processes, including participation in inventory preparation
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, accounting or a related field (preferred)
  • Professional Designation is desired, MBA or CPA (preferred)
  • Proven experience in a senior financial management role
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations and taxation
  • Leadership experience in mentoring, managing and developing finance teams
Compensation:& Will be negotiable and commensurate with experience, starting at $135,000 per yearJob Type: Full-timePay: From $135,000.00 per yearAdditional pay:
