Job Summary:

As a 310T Heavy Duty Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy-duty trucks and equipment in a safety-focused environment. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all vehicles are in top condition and meet safety standards. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on heavy-duty trucks and equipment

- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues and make necessary repairs

- Conduct inspections and identify potential problems

- Repair and replace parts as needed

- Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used

- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies

- Communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

- Continuously develop knowledge and skills through training and staying up-to-date with industry advancements

Qualifications:

- Valid 310T Heavy Duty Mechanic license or 3rd Year Apprentice

- Minimum 2 years of experience working as a heavy-duty mechanic

- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems

- Experience with computerized diagnostic equipment

- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics

- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Valid driver's license and clean driving record

- Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment and parts

- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends, as needed
