Job Overview:
Company of Cars Kelowna is seeking a friendly and highly organized individual to join our team at our car dealership as a Financial Services Manager. The Financial Services Manager is responsible for providing financial services to customers, including arranging financing and selling aftermarket products. The role involves working closely with the sales team to ensure a seamless buying experience, maintaining strong relationships with lenders, and ensuring compliance with all financial and legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Finance and Insurance (F&I) Management: Offer financing options to customers, explaining the terms and the advantages of dealer financing. Sell additional financial products such as extended warranties, service packages, insurance products, and more.
- Customer Service: Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional financial services. Answer customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial transactions comply with state and federal regulations. Safeguard customer privacy and the confidentiality of their financial information.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with financial institutions, insurance providers, and other vendors. Negotiate terms to secure competitive rates and products for the dealership's customers.
- Documentation and Processing: Accurately prepare and process all financial documents and contracts. Ensure that all paperwork is completed correctly and in a timely manner, following dealership and legal guidelines.
- Sales Support: Work closely with the sales team to facilitate the sale of vehicles. Provide training and support to sales staff on financing options and the benefits of dealership financial products.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in automotive finance and insurance, with a solid understanding of lending practices and legal requirements.
- Strong understanding of credit and financial services within an automotive dealership setting.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent sales penetration and the ability to demonstrate value in our products
- Strong negotiation and sales skills.
- Be self motivated
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Office.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet sales targets.
