We (Discovery Community College) have an opening for an onsite Instructor in our
Community Support Worker program based from one of our Vancouver Island main campuses (Nanaimo or Campbell River)
This would be 24 hours per week cohort (Tuesday to Friday – 6 hours per day)
Wage range for this position would be $31/hr to $33/hr depending on experience
You will instruct courses in the CSW program within the guidelines, and using the curriculum and mentoring provided by the college.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Applicants must have:
Previous teaching experience would be an asset, and good computer knowledge (Excel, Microsoft Teams etc) would be essential.

- Certificate related to community support work
- 24 months of related occupational experience
- 10 years of related occupational experience
