The successful candidate will support one of our clients on site within Saskatoon, Saskatchewan (located within Treaty 6 Territory and Homeland of the Metis).

The job function will include, but not be limited to, the following:

· Develop and execute Underground Capital Projects including scope, schedule, budget, and risk.

· Manage projects within the site owner's Project Management Framework.

· Develop project scope with appropriate stakeholders.

· Secure project materials and resources by utilizing the site owner's procurement process.

· Perform field visits to coordinate material and labor resources and ensure work is safely progressing according to plan.

· Monitor and forecast project budget and schedule to ensure plans are on track.

· Identify and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.

· Meet specific project KPI's as required.

· Engage with relevant project stakeholders including project reporting to management.

· Perform Continuous Improvement of the Project Management Process.

In this role, you will manage projects supporting the client's capital project portfolio as an owner-representative project manager in a Potash mining environment. Requires focus on collaboration and working with stakeholders, scheduling, planning and tracking budgets and long term commitment.

Shift schedule is Monday to Thursday 6 am - 4pm 10-hour days.

Requirements

• 10+ years of owner's representative industrial project management experience;
• Post-secondary education in a relevant technical field
• A PMP or CAPM designation is not required but is considered an asset

• Maintenance, project, and/or operational experience at an operating facility or a heavy industrial site is considered an asset

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Efficient use of Microsoft 365 Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
• Direct experience in underground potash is considered an asset
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, planning, problem solving, organizational skills, and detail oriented.
